Hansang Tofu Reviews (0)

Very nice Korean Tofu house. Lots of tofu soup combinations. The Banchan spread is pretty eloborate. Found the Beef tofu soup to be tastier than many other upmarket places around. So a definite try. Place is a bit tight, but service is quick. Would recommend if you are in the area.

A cute little neighborhood Korean spot! We ordered the - soft tofu soup: a classic, served with raw egg. It might have been a language barrier but it appears this soup cannot be made vegetarian so beware - kimchi pancake: this is HUGE compared to sizes I've gotten at other restaurants and not too oily - japchae: also a huge serving size but friend reported it was good Logistics: - indoor seating and 1-2 outdoor tables but they're just on the sidewalk with no heaters - plenty of strip mall parking in front of - limited vegetarian options

The location is great since there's ample parking space. The indoor seating is on the smaller side, so be ready to wait if they're full. We came on a Sunday evening with a party of three and luckily, there was no wait! We ordered the supreme fried chicken appetizer and beef tofu soup. All of the dishes were delicious and worth the price. The banchan was also plentiful with endless refills. The service was fast and the staff members were attentive. We are looking forward to coming back!

The gf and I were craving Korean food on Friday night and we decided to do some yelp research to eventually finding hansang. Upon arrival, there was a long wait but for good reason. The menu is moderately large, containing your typical Korean tofu soups with different proteins and spice levels , Korean fried chicken, and rice dishes with curry or katsu fried proteins. What's great is that they seem to excel in everything on their menu! We ordered the chicken tofu soup, beef spicy tofu soup, spicy pork bbq, and soy garlic fried chicken. All the soups were very hearty and delicious, and the proteins were all very savory. Our mains also came with a ton of side dishes you would typically find in Korean restaurants like kimchi, fish tofu, etc. Overall, our general dining experience was very pleasant. We loved the home like feel upon entering the restaurant, and the amazing food that came out. Easily a 5/5 experience and a staple for us when we're in Milpitas.

My favorite Korean food place in the SJ/Milpitas/Fremont area :) The banchans are always delicious, and I love the huge variety! The banchans are on the sweeter side, even the kimchi, which is how I like it. My favorite banchan is the eggplant!! I think this is the only acceptable way to eat eggplant now lol it's that delicious! The tofu soups are always so hearty and comforting. They don't skim on the meats that are in the tofu soups! What's pictured is the no spicy/pork version, but I've ordered mild spicy before, and it's a very light spicy (a noob like me could handle it comfortably hehe) The grilled chicken plate was a part of the tofu soup + grilled chicken combo. It was a good portion and the meat was so tender and flavorful! Not overly saucy, just the right amount. The staff are always so welcoming and came by to ask if we wanted any refills of banchans :) The restaurant is clean and has a nostalgic vibe. Highly recommend!
